The Erdington Monument viewed from within the Erdington Chapel. The furthest effigy is that of Sir Thomas de Erdington, who died in 1433, and the nearest of his wife Joan Harcourt, who died in 1417.
Eliot suggests this is the tomb of Sir Thomas de Erdington, founder of the chapel, and his wife Lady Joyce.
